Pokhara is place where we find mountains, hills, forests, Lake Cave, falls, river, wild flora and fauna, cultural heritages and many more at a single place. Attraction of mountain is increased by lake. There are 9 lakes in Pokhara. Is not surprising? Among all Lake Phewa lake is nearest to the town and there is a Taalbarahi Temple at the middle of lake, the main one. All tourists like to enjoy boating, swimming, fishing. It is interesting to see honeymoon couples, boyfriend and girlfriend especially and other people boating here. There are many lodges, Hotels and Restaurants to serve tourists with modern facility.
Another important lake is Lotus Lake covered all time by lotus flower. Many species of birds come here to get skip of winter from Siberia. Additionally, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, Khoste Lake, Dipang Lake, Gunde Lake and Maidi Lake are also important one. Seti River is another attraction of Pokhara. Some part of this river flows underground.
Davis falls is another important one with water flowing underground up to 100 m which gets mixed with Phusre River to 1 km south.
For visitors, Mahendra cave, Chamere cave, Gupteshwor cave, Crazy cave, Sita cave are also place to visit. One can go up to 125 m inside in Mahendra cave and organize a picnic there. There are many thousands of bats in Chamere cave. So why are you waiting?
